Pastor Daniel will minister on Sunday, September 12th at 4pm at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist, 4725 Silver Hill Road, Suitland, MD.   The Early Morning Choir will accompany the Pastor.    

 

NO BIBLE STUDY:  We will not have Bible Study this Tuesday, September 7th.  Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, September 14th at 7:30pm at 10675 Crain Highway. CD’s of our previous Tuesday night Bible Studies are available for purchase at the Book/Tape table, in addition to the following books:  Knowing God (Packer), The Attributes of God (Tozer), and Experiencing the Presence of God (Tozer).  

 

NEW  MEMBERS CLASS:  The next session of our New Members Class will begin next Sunday, September 12th  at 10:00am in Room 206.   All CPBBC members who have not yet completed this class should attend.

 

W.O.R.D. Women of Rare Distinction™ Fellowship:  All women are encouraged to attend our Women’s Ministry fellowship on Saturday, September 11th  at 10am at our 10675 Crain Highway location. 

 

Fitness and Nutrition Ministry:   September Food Elimination - Now that we have tried Vegetarian meals, let’s try Vegan meals.  Every Wednesday, starting September 8th, we will eliminate all animal products.  See the flyer in TODAY’s bulletin for healthy Vegan tips.  The walking group will meet on Mondays in the Marlton neighborhood at 6:30pm.  We will gather in the Marlton Shopping Center, in front of Bank of America located across from McDonald's.   Contact : Dorethea Cameron 301-574-3725

 

MIGHTY MEN’S CHOIR:  ATTENTION ALL MEN:  Be a part of our Men’s Day Choir,  as we prepare to celebrate Mighty Men’s Day on Sun, September 26th.  Come to the rehearsals on Monday, 9/13; Wednesday, 9/15; Monday, 9/20; Thursday, 9/23, which will start at 7:30pm and on Saturday, September 25th  at 9am.

 YOUTH NIGHT – All youth, ages 10-19, are encouraged to join us on Friday, September 24th from 7:00-11:00PM.    We will be viewing a screening of the short film Speak Life, which illustrates how death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) by director/producer Andre Ferguson and rapper/actor Joe L Da Vessel of D.A.A.S. AMAZING GRACE MINISTRY (AGM):   Parents, sign-up your daughter(s) now thru Sunday, September 19th to be a part of our Amazing Grace Ministry for young ladies, ages 9-18.   The AGM facilitates instruction for our young ladies in the development of a personal relationship with God and Christian character which will enhance their inward and outward beauty through the Word of God.  AGM leaders will be available at the table, in the rear of the sanctuary, to answer your questions and for registration. 

 

Intercessory Prayer Ministry:  The Intercessory Prayer Ministry has placed a Prayer Request Box in the rear of the sanctuary to receive your prayer requests.  We also invite you to join us every Sunday at 9:30am for corporate prayer in the cafeteria.  "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
