NEW MEMBERS CLASS:  A new session of our New Members class will begin next Sunday, March 14th at 10am in the rear of the sanctuary. 

W.O.R.D. Women of Rare Distinction™ Fellowship:  All women are encouraged to attend our Women’s Ministry fellowship this Sat., March 13th @10am here at the Church. 

MORE THAN CONQUERORS:  March is Colon/Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.   Be sure to get a colonoscopy if you are over 50 years of age or if you or anyone in your immediate family has a history of polyps or colon cancer.  Join us in wearing  any shade of blue on Sunday, March 28TH to help bring awareness to the battle against colon cancer.

OUTREACH MINISTRY: A meeting will be held on Tues., March 16th at 6:30 pm at the Church for all Outreach Ministry Coordinators (i.e., Prince Georges County Jail, St. Thomas Moore Nursing Home, Cheltenham Youth Facility, Youth Opportunities, Waxter‘s Children Center, SHARE Program, and Forestville Pregnancy Center).  FREE Computer Classes:  The IT Ministry is excited to kick-off "Training to Win In 2010 - In the Workplace."  Come out and be a part of our annual Workforce Development program.  Sign up TODAY in the lobby for one or all of the classes. MARRIAGE MINISTRY: Married and engaged couples - Plan to attend the Marriage ministry fellowship  being held on Fri., March 19th at 7:30pm here at the Church.   Also, you are encouraged to attend our monthly ministry teachings held on the 3rd Sunday of each month, 10am-10:45am in the Fellowship Hall.

The Fitness and Nutrition MINISTRY will be hosting another session of "It's a Family Affair: Balancing of the Mind, Soul and Body,” on Fri., March 26th at 7:30pm at the church. Join the Fitness and Nutrition Ministry in the food elimination for March.  We will be eliminating ALL SWEETS (cakes, pies, pastries, donuts, brownies, tarts, ice cream, candy, etc.).  For the more determined, continue the Jan. and Feb. eliminations of no sugary liquids and fried foods.  Tea, coffee, and homemade or 6oz. of 100% natural juice is okay to consume (avoid white sugar).
