Rev. Daniel T. Mangrum is
the Pastor of the Cornerstone
Peaceful
Bible
Baptist
Church
in Upper Marlboro,
Maryland.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree
from the
University
of
Maryland
at College Park.
He also attended Southwestern Theological
Baptist Seminary in
Ft. Worth,
Texas.
In May 1999, Rev. Mangrum graduated from
Howard
University
with a Master of Divinity Degree and received the Vernon Johns Preaching
Award.
Rev.
Mangrum founded the Cornerstone Baptist Church, which held
its first service on June 3, 1984, at the Rogers Heights Elementary School
in Bladensburg, Maryland.
In November 1987, he presided over the
merger of the
Cornerstone
Baptist
Church
and the
Peaceful Bible
Baptist
Church,
which has grown both numerically and spiritually.
The Church has over 40 ministries, which
address the multi-faceted needs of the congregation.
Rev. Mangrum was recognized by the
Afro-American Newspaper as the “Most Admired Religious Leader” in the
metropolitan area.
In September of 2008, Rev. Mangrum saw the
realization of a dream in the completion of a new state-of- the-art 66,000
square feet educational facility, Excellence Christian School, located at
9010 Frank Tippett Road in Upper Marlboro, MD.
In
March
of 2010, Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church began to hold Sunday
services at this expanded location.
Rev.
Mangrum is the President of the Prince George’s American Christian
Television System (PG ACTS).
With a successful television
ministry that reaches over 4 million viewers weekly, Cornerstone Peaceful
Bible Baptist Church can be seen on cable stations serving the Washington
Metropolitan Area.
Rev.
Mangrum is married to Rev. Sabrina A. Mangrum.
From this union, God has blessed them
with two beautiful daughters, Danielle Sabrina and Diamond Shekinah.
