 Reverend Lesley Poole is the daughter of the late,
James & Geraldine Poole, the younger sister of Gwen Hill, Roxanne
Roberts, and the older sister of Jamie Poole.
She proudly claims “favorite auntie” status to Daniel, James,
Spenser, Rachel, Brittany and Joy Marie.
Her vocation thus far has involved
managing new store development and remodels for Nordstrom.
After ten years with Nordstrom, Lesley desired to have an impact on
the lives of children and youth living in the inner city of San Francisco
and thus began a career in education.
She serves today as the Director of Admissions for the SEED School
of Washington, D.C.; the nation’s first public boarding school.
Her call to the ministry came only a
few years after she accepted Christ.
Prior to officially entering public ministry; her gift has
consistently made room for itself throughout the years allowing her to
teach the Word of God in the local church, small group bible studies and
at various women’s conferences in California.
Her journey to the Cornerstone
Peaceful Bible Baptist Church has been pure destiny.
In her five years at Cornerstone, she has served as a teacher for
the New Members Class and Youth Bible Study.
While at Cornerstone, Rev. Leslie acknowledged her call to the
ministry and was licensed to preach the gospel in October 2003.
Whatever is next, one thing is for
sure, “the best is yet to come!”
