Rev. Victoria Lannel Evans
Rev. Victoria L. Evans was born and raised in Washington DC. Rev. Victoria was educated in the District of Columbia Public School System and graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Rev. Victoria received her bachelor’s degree in history and government from Bowie State University.
Rev. Victoria gave her life to Christ while attending Ebenezer A.M.E church in Fort Washington Maryland, where Rev. Grainger Browning and Rev. Joann Browning are the Pastors. Rev. Victoria sang in the Rejoice Choir, regularly attended young adult bible study, organized the young women’s conference, ministered in the liturgical dance ministry, organized and served as a counselor for the summer camp ministry and was active in the Alice Marie Chapman Missionary Society.
Rev. Victoria acknowledged her call to preach during Ebenezer’s anointed Women’s Conference. Upon answering the call to preach, Rev. Victoria attended Harvest Seminary and Theological School in 1996 to receive further training.
Rev. Victoria’s passion for women’s ministry led her to organize and host women’s conferences where women in ministry can be free from the bondages that prevent them from truly embracing their destiny.
In 2003, Rev. Victoria and her family joined Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro Maryland where she serves as a youth bible study teacher and does outreach ministry at Waxler’s Prison. Rev. Victoria is a conqueror and counted among God’s faithful. It is her desire to be found faithful as she ministers to others about not just being an overcomer but being more than a conqueror and allowing the power of God to be present in every area of their lives.
Rev. Victoria counts it a blessing to be married to Rev. Christopher C. Evans. The two of them share the honor of raising two anointed children, Akanni and Jasmine Katrina. |
